Fashion is ever changing. Every season is a little different and a person has to change their fashion as well to keep an edge. Today's look definitely was a huge change for me and I'm glad I took the risk because everything in the end came out wonderfully. I guess not being afraid to take risks is just as important as knowing what coordinates.

Overalls

My obsession with overalls has lead me to purchase several pairs of them. I have a short pair and decided that I really needed a long pair. Overalls are the perfect summer piece and are a must have for any outfit because they are so easy style. A fun t-shirt and trainers or a colorful button up and oxfords and you've got a chic yet effortless look!

Forlorn

I'm so excited that I finally got around to this look. It features an article of clothing so horrible that they are actually the best thing ever.

A trip to Chevy Chase

Today's post will be a combination post. I have an outfit of the day as well as a day trip to talk about! That being said, the story starts with the fact that I have worked for Luxottica eyewear for a year now and on my one year anniversary they gave me $500 towards any pair of glasses or sunglasses. So i decided I wanted to go to Chevy Chase, Maryland and upscale shopping district like 2 miles outside of D.C. so my mom and I made the trip!

No Stopping

After a day of rest I finally get to debut my platform sneakers in an official outfit of the day. You guys have no idea how long I've been waiting to show these off. Of course I've had them for months now and have even dedicated a blog post to them but this still feels like the correct way to introduce them with an outfit styled around them.

Minamalism

The white t-shirt is my best friend. I literally always love wearing a white tee shirt. It's easy, comfortable and by far the most versatile of all pieces in my wardrobe. Make it oversized and I'm an even happier man. This look was crafted around the concept of the simple white t.

Awaiting

I love that I've started blogging because it allows me to more permanently look back on my previous fashion choices. I love to see the growth and the difference even a few months can make.

 I'm sorry for the lack of updates guys! I have been so busy with finals at University. But I'm back with this outfit!!!!!! I love my kimono and hat and I had to pair them with cutoff shorts and my new cut-out brogues. I loved the look and was so comfortable! Oh the nice weather makes me happy!

Clothing Love; Iridium Clothing and Lab & ID

You guys know how I love my Tumblr and LOOKBOOK. My LOOKBOOK and my Tumblr always bring me to new and exciting things! I find that I always discover wonderful fashion tips and great new clothing brands that I am not sure I would have heard of on my own. The first I discovered was Iridium Clothing. I found this brand through the Black Fashion Tumblr. I was intrigued by the outfit in a submission. The leather pants were just too amazing. After some searching I found their website, Thinknscience.com. I am literally obsessed with everything on the site! Leather pants, leather t-shirts, bomber jackets! It's very street and very much my aesthetic. They even offer custom made clothing options! I haven't ordered anything from them yet but I see myself picking up some things in the very near future!

The other website, LabandID.com I discovered through LOOKBOOK. A particular lookbooker caught my attention. I decided to look through his account to see if he had a blog and instead I found a website! The site doesn't have much up but it looks very promising! The style of the clothing is very Givenchy and I think that in time it will take off! I really want the graphic t-shirts! I love a bold print!

Within the Light

It started out as a really gross day but magically the clouds parted and the sun came out. Even though it wasn't super warm everyone suddenly appeared on campus to come out and enjoy the sun in their shorts and tank tops. I however tend to be more practical and opted for a look that was more appropriate for the 60° weather. I broke out the hot pink blazer that I've had for a few years now and paired it with skinny jeans that I recently destroyed ( I mean literally destroyed) and went with a distressed muscle shirt and Docs. I topped it off with my new hat and the outfit was complete. Early spring and fall fashion seem to work best for me because I'm really not a fan of shorts, I think for my style long pants suit me better. However, the weather is warming up so I guess I'll have to make it work. I left most of the pictures today unedited. Boy of the New Age

Today's look was really just thrown together! I had picked out the hat, top and pants the previous night because I had thought it would be warm and I really wanted to break out these funky pants from Joyrich. However it was a bit colder than I thought so I ended up in trainers and a camo jacket to combat the wind chill. I liked the end result because the outfit was completely quirky; just like me. Finally Came A(Round)/X Marks the Spot

Today's outfit is a bit different from the rest. Today's outfit was structured around the t-shirt I am wearing. The t-shirt was made by Round Table Apparel, which is a new clothing company started by my friend Ryan. I am so proud that even though we are only freshman in college he is taking initiative to achieve his dreams. The company is really new but he got some sample shirts made and gave one to me! The t-shirt features a simple design, the company logo in white on a long sleeve black shirt. The shirt is perfect because it fits right in with other street wear brands like Stussy and Boy London. I could definitely see his brand at Karmaloop. Now for the outfit I wanted to have some fun and play with layering. I decided to pair printed leggings with basketball shorts, a black snapback, a black leather backpack and white trainers for a clean simple look. The trench coat I added because it was raining and I love to pair dressier pieces with street/athletic pieces for a fresh look.
