One of my favorite things to do in my free time at home is to browse the internet and find cool things to  buy. Etsy is one of the best places to find one of a kind, cool things. In fact there's an awesome shop on  Etsy that makes the most amazing tote bags I've ever seen. Inverted Commas is the name of the store and after looking at their products I am thinking I might have to break down and buy one!

Bag it Up

Skinny jeans and modern day cell phones don't mix. This I'm telling you is from experience. Since 2008 (my god that's a long time) I've been rocking skinnies in every color and textile and every time I've had to shove my phone and any other items into the pockets. It's totally obvious that I've got a pocket full of stuff! Well I've decided to invest in a good bag; it's really about time.

I took a trip to South St. this weekend. South Street is such an ecclectic combination of shops and restaurants, it definitely sticks out to me compared to the other sections of Philadelphia. My mother and I took the trip to get me a new hat because my friend crushed my other one.  Getting the hat actually turned out to be the last thing we did. The day was interesting and for the first time I brought my camera to document some of our stops. We stopped at a few consignment shops, boutiques, a jewelry shop, and finally Hats in the Belfry for the cherry on top. It was a fun day and I got lots of stares and even some screams because of my platforms!

On a Rainy Day!

On a gross and rainy day like today, one definitely needs something to make the day a little bit brighter. For me having an outfit that makes a statement always makes the rain a little bit more bearable. Before it used to be quite difficult to find pieces that really were stylish while still maintaing functionality but that is a worry long gone. Fashion has met practicality!

Hats I Love

Hats have been a huge part of the 90s comeback and I have to say that it has been something I've been able to get on board with. Before I never really wore hats because they personally didn't fit my personal style but now I have evolved and have found some hats that really suit me.

The top two are from the brand Paislee. I saw them in a shoe boutique in Philadelphia and was instantly captivated. They retail at about $150 but I think they are well worth the cost. Just think how awesome these suckers will be when they are considered vintage

This guy is gorgeous! Black quilted leather with a gilded Chanel inspired pin, what could be better in a hat. This one goes for about $100.

This hat is made by Hellz Bellz which is another of the awesome street brands out. Studs and black are my favorite combination.

Lens Lust: Luxe Sunglasses

Coming back from school has meant coming back to my job in retail. Although the hours have been long (very long) for everyone I've started at a different location than and have actually liked the change! I work at Sunglass Hut and I've been surrounded by luxurious sunglasses all day! I want them now but even with my discount, they are still out of my reach! Take a look at these gorgeous glasses that sunglass hut likes to tease us broke fashion lovers with:

These Dolce and Gabbana frames clock in at $560USD and appropriately so. They 18karat gold placed inside a high-density acetate and come with a special velvet lined chest case.

This here is a BVLGARI shield style. Coming in at $590USD these are a classic. With a lightweight highly scratch resistant and shatter resistant polycarbonate lens that is only part of their luxury. The crystals are handset Swarovski crystals.

This Dolce & Gabbana is a one of a kind and one we are not allowed to have in stores. It is a limited edition frame with gold-plated rosettes around the frame. At $840USD this style was designed for the fashionista who wants to be apart from the rest!

This Versace shield is, I think, the most reasonably priced of all my favorites. It clocks in at $270USD and was actually the first style I loved. With the painted baroque temples and the crystal chain across the brow you're bound to sparkle.

Last, I picked a Tiffany & Co. style. This style is simple and to the point. Simple shape with a black exterior and Tiffany blue interior. It has the signature platinum key with handset Swarovski crystals. This one is going for $380USD.

I am still in the process of deciding what pair I should get. I'm definitely not sure because I love all of them you know? Also which one is the best buy for the money! If you guys want, leave me a comment below saying which one is your favorite and which one you think I'd like!
