A Day in Ardmore
Saturday, July 13
I've been doing a lot more traveling recently and honestly I've been enjoying it. The world outside of Philadelphia is actually more interesting than I ever could have thought! Today's travels took me to Ardmore, Pennsylvania to visit some old friends. The area was gorgeous and I wish I could have explored it more thoroughly but the rain kept me from doing so.

Our Day in Chinatown
Thursday, July 11
Yesterday I had the best day I've had in a really long time! I went on an impromptu visit to Philadelphia with three of my very best friends. It was so last minute and I had been running errands previously so I didn't have time to get as dressed up as I would have liked, but regardless we had such a good time.
My good friend Chang is interning for an interior design studio in Philly this summer so she doesn't get the chance to come home so often. So her sister and my good friend, Joyce, decided it would be a good idea to go up and pay her a visit and spend some time with her. So Joyce, Bethanie and I all decided to go see her.
A Trip to South Street

The hat that I bought:
I took a trip to South St. this weekend. South Street is such an ecclectic combination of shops and restaurants, it definitely sticks out to me compared to the other sections of Philadelphia. My mother and I took the trip to get me a new hat because my friend crushed my other one. Getting the hat actually turned out to be the last thing we did. The day was interesting and for the first time I brought my camera to document some of our stops. We stopped at a few consignment shops, boutiques, a jewelry shop, and finally Hats in the Belfry for the cherry on top. It was a fun day and I got lots of stares and even some screams because of my platforms!

Transparency
Saturday, April 13
Even though transparent pieces has been trending they haven't done much for me. However while looking into my rainy day post for women I came across a rain coat for men that really caught my attention. The Transparent Hoody Kagool by TOPMAN is beyond amazing. A lot of awesome trends bypass menswear or are simply produced in limited quantity from high fashion brands. It is quite affordable coming in at a reasonable $120. Even though I love my Burberry trench coat, this is definitely a piece I would love to have for the next rainy day!
Let me know your thoughts on the transparent trend below!

Weekly Wanting #4 : Alexander Wang Black Leather Patch Boxing Shorts
Thursday, April 11
I'm always on the look-out for new pieces to add to my wardrobe. There are so many pieces I still need to complete my wardrobe. I came across these awesome shorts by Alexander Wang. They immediately caught my eye because they have a leather look with leather accents, a baggy fit, and hit the knee which is a flattering length. I could wear these over leggings or just plain and both would look equally good. These shorts are definitely speak for themselves. These shorts are $475, which is pretty for reasonable for Alexander Wang. I hope my birthday comes early!!!!
By the way, I really love the SSENSE. The buyer has an excellent style!!!!!

Me and my friend Kelly on our way to Target!
This post isn't going to be very text heavy because it's so impromptu but I just wanted to share it with you guys! This post is from two days before as the weather really started to improve. It is just amazing how much energy I have lately. I've been dressing for the warmer weather but with still some of my flare in it. Very 90s, very grunge, very club scene with platforms, very Tristian!!! I loved the results of my outfit. All the pictures were taken sporadically through they day with my iPhone so forgive the quality.
I'm Wearing:
Ray-Ban Tortoise New Wayfarer
JYP x Monstercable Diamond Tears Headphones
Thrifted Military Jacket
Tildon Asymmetric White Tank
DIY Shredded Skinnies

Spring Yearnings: Denim Shorts
Tuesday, April 9
Images Courtesy of my Pinterest
Spring has definitely sprung!!!! I woke up to bright sunlight and a serious case of congestion, hahah no big though. Spring seriously makes me happy even though it means a serious case of allergy medicine and puffy eyes. Since I knew today was going to be in the 80s today I decided to make some shorts out of old jeans. Lately I've just preferred the authenticity and price of DIY and vintage. Recently the idea of buying cut-offs just did not appeal to me! So I made some and loved them!!!! I've already got some ideas on other shorts and shirts I can make. I looked to my tumblr and picked these images because these are the styles that inspired me to make a male version.

So from now on I'll be on a quest to make all of these different styles because to be honest my shorts for summer are really not up to par!! I always look so bland and tasteless but this summer will change. Do you guys have any DIY projects going on?
