The Holiday Season

It's the Holiday Season!!!! And the happy spirit of Christmas joy is ringing about! I personally love the holiday season; cheerful shopping, holiday decorations and parties all around! Even though the weather is getting colder it doesn't mean that we can't still be fashionable. I want to talk about some trends for men and women for the Holiday Season for 2012. This season should always be about being the life of the party! Luxe looks and shine are what we want to see at the party.

For the ladies it's all about standing out when you go out! Luxe materials like sequins and velvet allow you to update classic pieces and shine. Choose fabrics or accessories in gold to add a warm holiday feel to any outfit or to make something as simple as shorts be the highlight of the night. Add cutouts to any look for an unexpected flash of skin and top it off with bold statement jewelry so that you know you won't go unnoticed.

Men, this season allow your inner wild-child to break free. Take inspiration from past decades and break out your velvet blazers for an event. Try out the new Holiday Sweater which is no longer ugly and comes in a variety of cool patterns and colors. And last, if you're really bold and daring try to top your party outfit off with a pair of platform shoes! You'll be sure to remembered.
