Back in Chevy Chase

Today my mother and I were back in Chevy Chase, to run some errands. As I mentioned before, I really love Chevy Chase, it's the perfect mix between a happening downtown, sophisticated living, and art. While I didn't get the chance to really do my thing because we were in such a hurry (and it was close to 100°) but I did capture the few moments where we actually stood still.

I totally loved this woman's style! And she had amazing Rag & Bone sandals!

The original intent of our trip was to pick up the glasses we had bought the last time we visited Chevy Chase. However, my mother and I got distracted by all of the lovely shops and their appealing window displays, so much so that picking up the glasses was the last thing we did. We had an amazing trip to Cole Haan, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales. All the while I'm snapping pictures hoping to not get kicked out.

A simple day full of simple fun and too much shopping. And surprisingly I was stopped several times everywhere I went so people could inquire about my sandals, compliment my Rag & Bone skinnies, or try to touch my camera. I felt like a public attraction but it made the day more interesting.
