Outfit of the Day: Pattern Clash

Monday, March 18

So I feel as though I am finally back with an outfit of the day. It's been ages since  I last did one but that's not important. I'm finally going to be able to show you guys all of the things I've purchased since January, and trust me it's a lot of things!!! I'm excited to say that my style has now evolved and I am, in my opinion becoming more stylish by the day.

In this look everything I'm wearing is new. The hat, which I'm obsessed with, I found in a local thrift shop while just spending the day with my friend. I wear it a least three times a week and in my opinion adds flavor to any outfit without being over the top. The jacket is also thrifted and I think it is a part of an old uniform because the tag doesn't have a brand instead it has very specific measurements for the kind of man it could fit. The t-shirt I got while out on a shopping trip with my mum. She picked it up and I had to have it. The jeans I bought from Nasty Gal in a massive haul. I had been wanting black and white striped jeans for as long as I could remember so I had to break down and finally get them. Lastly the creepers were an impulse purchase because I have been wanting to wear shoes that give me some extra height.

Thrifted Hat, Thrifted Army Jacket, Zara Skull Brocade Tee, Tripp NYC Black & White Striped Skinnies, TUK Black Creepers

Overall I am more than pleased with how the outfit came out. Some pattern mixing was much needed on my part because honestly, I tend to play it safe. Now I feel more confident and I want to branch out more. Expect to see me kick it up a notch. If you like my look please show me support on LOOKBOOK or leave a comment below!!!!

With Love,
Tae Hyeon ♡
